A Great Place for Business

Ontario County’s only shovel-ready sites.

We’re a small town but sizable corporations have had major manufacturing facilities here. And we have a variety of stores, restaurants, and other retail facilities in our town.

A look at Bloomfield businesses

There’s plenty of room for more—our Industrial Park alone offers five shovel-ready building lots in various sizes totaling nearly 75 acres with a good access road, low cost electric, public sewer and water, just 16 minutes from Route 390 and 20 minutes from the NYS Thruway. Cost of living here is 95% of the NYS average. The average home sale is about $225k.

Retail

Some 1,200 families live in East Bloomfield. Ten thousand cars a day drive through town. These numbers add up to a sizeable retail market. We already have nearly 100 retail and professional businesses including a grocery store, florist, gas stations, Dollar General, Dunkin’ Donuts, and breweries, pubs, restaurants, and ice cream shops.

Entrepreneurs—you’ll find room for a primary doctor, pharmacy, dry cleaner, day care center, or additional wineries or breweries. Or even ax throwing or any other creative endeavor you dream up!

East Bloomfield is easy to do business with, too.

Our Code Enforcement office and Planning Boards are easy to reach, friendly, knowledgeable, and conduct business as simply and professionally as possible.
